New phosban reactor

I know a lot of people already have one of the new union type PB reactors, but I just got one today. I really have to say how much I like these units.

For $30, these cannot be beat!!! I'm about to throw my old one away and get another new one... :lol:

Man I love those in the stand shots. Great for dudes like me who are just getting started and want to see lots of different setups.

Which one is the new one left or right. I see pictures of both at various online stores. Two little fishes shows the one on the right at their website.

It must be the one on the left, because I have the one on the right and about to throw it out!!!

I hate those cheap plastic elbow......what are those suppose to be for........they leak all the time and I don't trust them at all!!!

Actually, the new one is on the right.

I set it up so that the 90's we on the exhaust. However, IMO, its best to run the reactors w/out them, and hook the hose directly up to the reactor.

I think its much better than the old style because the old style used a series of PITA screws to hold it together. With the new style, its really easy to take it apart and clean.

After running my skimmer externally like this for over two years, I will try to avoid running another skimmer insump
