Picked these little guys up Friday night. Any good books on clowns that you might recommend? I'd like to read up on their behavior, it's pretty interesting watching them interact with each other.

Clownfishes by Joyce D. Wilkerson is pretty highly recommended. It's a good read, and has a lot of information. Including some tips to get you started on raising the fry should your clowns start spawning, and given that sort of thing interests you.

Beautiful Pair! :)

The ONLY Clownfish book I recommend is "Clownfishes" by Joyce Wilkerson!

It is an incredible book.

Very nice snag. You have a handsome pair of clowns. I also recommend Clownfishes by Wilkerson You can get it on Amazon.com fairly cheap.

All right, thanks all. Wilkenson book it is.

Yeah, I thought their color / markings were very nice as well. They'd been in the shop for, I believe, 8 weeks, so no shipping stress other than my 1 hour drive back to the city in Friday night traffic. I think they're going to color up great as they mature, and I love the huge sideburn on one of them.

Only one of them will eat ORA pellets right now, the other will only eat Rod's Food. Hopefully I can get it on the ORA glo, because I don't like adding too much Rod's to my tank every day. It's only been a few days, so I'll feed it whatever it will eat while it gets comfortable.

Those are such pretty clowns! I have always wanted a pair, but they are a bit too pricey for me right now. Maybe once more people start breeding them their prices will decrease. Good luck ;)
