Got this today, it came in as a hitchhiker. Never seen anything like it.

Polyps receded. Just after adding to tank

Polyps out 5 mins after in tank

how big is it do you have a full shot?

Its a couple inches big. I'll take a full shot when all the polyps come out. Its taking a while after a pretty heavy iodine dip for pests.

Nope yours does not have nearly enough tentacles on the polyps. Aslo the polyps don't look extended like that.

Don't think it's Astreopora unless those polyps extends more from the base. Here's one that I've been keeping in the sump.

None of those mentioned so far have a distinct seletal division between the polyps.

Funny thing is that it is growing onto the plug it is on. Not sure if this rules out being a goni.

I was thinking Goni, but I only count 17 or 18 tenticles per polyp, goni has 24 I believe.

If it is a Cyphastrea it is not that species. That one looks nothing like my piece. Just look at the skeleton on mine.
