And for the ID help, I noticed a brown tube-like thing on this frag. It's hard to see, but it IS alive, I've seen it open and close (slowly)

Are you talking about the brownish thing to the right of the large mass of zoas? Reminds me of something I have. Does it have 1 or 2 openings? does anything come out of it? I'll get a shot of my tunicate or sea squirt it expands and contracts, opens and closes. Does this look like what you have? Well it was worth a try. : )

YEA! haha. it seems to have two openings, one on top, one on bottom. yours looks like a big version of what I have. I'm guessing they're harmless. like a weird filter feeder or smthn.
I haven't seen anything come out of it

It's a tunicate (sea squirt.) It's a harmless filter feeder.

Cool thanks. Not the greatest looking thing but o well

I like having wierd things in my tank like peanut worms, bristleworms, spaghetti worms, pods, etc. I think they're cool
My GF spotted a tiny serpent star hitcher too
