It is a very new addition only about 1.5 weeks or so. It came very healthy, I got a really bad sting from it, taking a long time to heal up. ITs really big, shaped like the letter T almost like to elegance corals connceted to form one. Its one of my favorite corals, I hope it does not have the Elegance coral disease that is known to kill them. The other really hard to keep LPS that I own is a Gonipora which is over a month old.
The current halide I am using is a Hamilton 14k 400w bulb 18inches above water.
I tried out a 12k Reeflux but my soft corals seemed to never open. I just switched out to the Hamilton and the softies respond well to it and started to open up. The Reeflux looked way nicer to me, but in terms of performance I think the Hamilton is better.
More pics. Give me your feedback please. This is my first Nano. trying to do it a little different from the norm. I love Nano's and I am happy to share it with others who do as well.
I took these pics this morning, so some stuff did not open up yet, please excuse that. Will take more later on.
