very nice, can't really see good color in those pics, but it may just be the lighting. Anyways, your lucky your clowns took right to it. Sometimes that can be a chore.

ye i know the halide makes everything so damn blue its 18k krystal star i gotta play with the camera to things to correct color.

its green with pink tips and the foot is bright purple....any body get an id or have any ideas to what it could be. i love that it only took them like less than 10 hours of turning the rock and putting it out in the open they havent even looked at the bta which is like a quarter the size of this. im very happy lol

I suppose it could be a magnifica, but its location is definitely not typical of H. Magnifica. They generally perch themselves high atop the rock, as close to the light as possible. However, it would explain why the clowns took to it so quickly...

In any case, it looks like it's in pretty good health, and it's great that your clowns have taken to it. Hopefully someone else knows what exactly it is.

see it was up higher then once i moved the rock around it went lower...maybe its still adjusting to the lighting...who knows lights are out and they're still in there partying lol im a happy daddy!

ohh and slakker hows your tank doing clowns still kicking and doing good?

cartman5579 i saw the pics of your tank in the other thread and love the setup. those rbtas are pimp..

Yep, everything is still going pretty well. The corals are all growing(as is the hair algae, and a little red bubble algae...bah). That odd little frag of zoa's has been doing really well since I glued it up on a bigger rock closer to the lights. The polyps are getting big and fat and look great, but there are still only four of them...lol. It just doesn't seem to want to spread.

How's the rest of your tank? Your clowns are obviously healthy and happy!

Thanks, like I say its still a work in progress, and kind of an experiment at that. I have some things coming that will make me very happy if they will exist with my other anemone's without to much chemical warefare.

Lucky you and not so lucky you at the same time if that's a ritteri. Good luck anyways

well see this is where it gets really really bad....and someone can freak out and flame me all the want....its in my 20 now..i thought it was a bta that was just under bad lighting and not fed cause of stubby tentcles and once i saw the foot started to make me think that it was something completely different....plus i got a baby on the way in december then we're moving to a 2 bedroom just before the summer hits...so im not setting up a big tank now to tear it down in a few months...im going to minimum a 55-65 so...its just a quick tie up especially if its a mag and starts to grow its a*s off i will cry..im just glad to see my clowns happy..they were in my open brain and acans in the last like 2-3 days...and now they spotted the new nem and are going crazy..

as for my tank i got alot more rock now and i wish i would bought lotsa rock instead of more corals lol my bta is on the back of an acan colony and tried everything to get it off...icecube, powerhead at its foot and nothing lol not gonna budge a bit...ill add a pic of it cause its still super gorgeous.
