Well, these are about as good of pics as I have ever gotten with my Canon S3 IS. Have had it for a year come December.

No add on lens for me. I do calibrate my white balance every time I shoot, so very little editing is required (and I can not shoot in RAW with this camera).

Out of habit, in photoshop I do auto colour, auto contrast, and unmask sharp. Provided your white balance is properly calibrated you will find using these 3 features change the image very little, and generally does little to improve the image.

Sorry let me clarify, I do not not calibrate WB on every individual pic. I only calibrate once, before I start snapping on a particular day.

And hot do you do this? I just got an expo disc, but I am having a hard time with my WB :(
