new powerheads

hi Roger
i pickedup a pair of 7400s with a multicontroller today from preuss.

i think i may have a problem though my tank is going to have a dry column up through the tank so i have no wires exposed externally. when i look @ the pumps, they are directly attached to the blue drivers. is there a way to seperate them so i can run them through the dry column in my tank or am i fubar?

i presume i dont want the blue boxes exposed inside the canopy

Yes,

On page 44 of the manual it shows you how to disconnect the driver. It is fairly simple and should be no problem.

i was worried. i actually didnt get a manual, i purchased a pair they had on a display thank they took down.

is the manual still on the website?
