New problem with Nano brackets?

Hi, I had one of the first 6025's and was pleased with the performance. I had the tabs break on it and got a replacement for that. (thanks Roger) Then I thought I would get a couple more for my other tanks and got 2 more 6025. They are only a few months old and I have been very careful to not bump them because of the tabs breaking on my other one. In the last few weeks the arms of the "C" brackets have broken on the 2 new ones and the tabs broke on the original again.
They were not bumped or anything. they were just running there and the next time I looked in the tanks they were flopping around and the plastic was on the sandbed. The weird thing is that it was 2 different tanks and 2 different pumps that did the same thing within days of each other.

I am including a pic so you can see that they both broke in the same spot and it may be an issue you didn't know about. I will PM about replacements but I wanted to post so that others may have the same problem it will be addressed and answered here for them to research.
I am not mad, just want to make you aware of it. I know there will be no problem getting them fixed as any Tunze product I have ever needed worked on was done in a timely and friendly manner. Great service and a great company!

Thanks,
-- Kevin

does anyone have a picture of what the "new and improved" brackets look like. I just bought two 6055's and I don't know if they have the good or bad brackets.

Being that they are a few months old I am guessing these ones were the old style still. The break as pictured was another "common" failure point like the tabs.

As for pics, I dont have any of the new brackets. Not every bracket of the old style fails but definately a higher percentage than tunze would have liked. On the new ones the tabs have a kinda teardrop shape on the back of the tabs, it is a subtle difference. This thread might help you check,

To me the new brackets look exactly like the old brackets. You can tell a significant difference in the material used to make them though.

Those are the old ones, as Shawn said, the tabs are thicker but the main difference is a new plastic. If you PM me your info I will send them. If you already sent a PM I will get to it later today.
