OK, my internet time is still good so i might as well burn up my prepaid hour.

The big new products are the new Master DOC skimmers and the Nano Streams. These will be available sometime between September and December.

The nano Streams are tiny, 2.7' around! They include a magnet holder! The non electronic models start at approx $70 and will work on a standard wavemaker. They also swivel in all directions. These are for smaller tanks and will not replace the existing Stream line up.

The Master DOC skimmers take needle wheel skimmers to the next levell. Absolutely no adjustment- they utilize a patented feedback loop to auto regulate the air and water height. The cup just lifts off like on any Tunze skimmer- no coupling. The cup also shuts down skimming when full- no foaming over. The pump is a custom designed needle wheel pump, it produces an amazing 800l/h of air and 1300l/h of water with only 23w of power. The biggest one has 4 pumps, it is over 12" across and is about 24' tall. They also are modular- you can add a pump to go up to the next model size.

We have some new nano reef products including a complete nano reef tank as well. I have to go man the booth now but I will check in tomorrow!

COOOOL now i can have a tunze stream for my 30 gal sps tank and get the performance of a tunze stream without a big bulky pump inside my tank.

Roger, any news as to when Tunze will release a Magnet that can hold a controllable stream on a 1" tank?


Seems to me like they would release this, specially if they have a stream that pushes 8000 GPH, it's not like you can have very large tanks with only 3/4" thick sides.

Great looking pump, but their nano skimmer is horrible. They have a picture of a beautiful aquarium with a garbage can on top. Yikes. I think Remora has a much better HOB package at least from an aesthetic point of view.

I can't wait till Roger get back from Germany so i can find out about the 6300. I just pick up the 6200 today. I may go with 2x6200 and 2x6300 if not i just go with 4x6200.
