Excited about this controller but have a few questions. This is for the Plus II

It came with a Tunze 1 control cable, I need to run 3 pumps what do I need to order?

Question 2 correct me if I am wrong I can run standard non-dimmable T5 ballast on ANY plug on the Digital Power strip once configured??

And last one with a basement sump what would I need to shut off the return pump during feeding and control the ATO float switches? Another Digital Power Bar? Anything else?

Thanks;

Rob

Hi

Welcome to the fastest growing aquatic controller club in North America :)

The ProfiLux can run up to 8 Tunzes in total, so for you to run a further two is no problem.

What you need all depends on how you wish them to react, do you wish them all to react diffeent to each other? if so then you require another Tunze 1 and two Yunze2's plus a YL2-1 splitter cable.

For the ballast yes you can plug into any power socket, but always keep in mind total wattage of devises plugged into one power bar, do not exceed 15 amps (amps = watts diveded by Volts)

it would be easier to have apower bar controlled that is close by the sump, so if you need to extend the data cable for the power bar you require VSL-5, this gives you about 20' in total, you can extend further but be aware of possible interference.

Thanks for the reply.

Currently trying to set-up the lighting threw the PC, I1-I3 set for non dimmable. I have the bar hooked up and plugged into s1-s4. Blinking power light on the bar, com light is not illuminated and the S1-S4 do not illuminate.

Not sure what I am doing wrong, all days are selected for t1-t3.

Do you have to save or hit something to down load this to the profilux?

on the bottom of the software screen you will see the buttons save and load.

I assume you have the anologue 4 way power bar and it has 110V power applied to it that is live

Can you email me at sales@aqua-digital.com for more in depth support, thanks

Ok will do there is no save load on the bottom on the screen it does show the temp sensor being plugged in. Firmware version 4.0 currently running. And it's a Digital PB.

Well figured it out, had to change the screen resolution to see the load and save buttons. Once I did that eveyrthing powered up.

Thanks

Rob

No, I was lucky. We got a brown out that turned off the metal halides , but that was it. I was a little nervous because there was a simultaneous lightning flash and thunder. I ran around the house and unplugged anything considered non-essential.
