New Quoyi Parrot Fish

Fish is about 3.5 inches and shows a start to some brilliant coloration!!

He was eating 2 hours after acclimation...

Extremely active and picking at Rocks all over tank... He ate mysid and Rogers Reef very well...

Beautiful, but definitely not a Quoyi. Maybe scarus iserti? Can you get a clearer picture?

That is a Princess Parrotfish, Scarus taeniopterus

It could be the Striped Parrotfish, S. iserti, but the dorsal & ventral fin coloration, and the stripe pattern is a little off.

We need better/ more pictures to get a more concise identification.

Either way, that is a nice specimen - Enjoy
