New Radion led idea

Do you think the next set of LEDs you put out the make our Sps glow with iredescents because of the blue spectrum be made not to look blue? But still give us the same affect? This would be amazing if you could replicate this with out all the blue.

How about bringing the power cord out the back of the radion instead of the side.

With all 3 radions i had the same issue. Humidity condensation. I think you should work a little more in this aspect.

Just in case, i run my lights 15¨ off the water surface.

Here's a novel idea. Fix what you already have on the market. Ie. ESL!!!! Then worry about new things for next Gen radions. Just saying

Can you please elaborate what you mean? Most corals "pop" under the blues and violets.

Yes I am still running a G1 happy so far but I know that soon there will be new light fixtures coming out with better technology. This company has my attention and I am sure others will follow http://orphek.com they clam there light fixture can replicate the blue spectrum with out the blue color.

You're 2 upgrades behind there chief You just need to get the newer versions bc the other guy is right. These lights make all your corals glow

Are you talking about the radion Pro or the light fixture that is up and comming?

Oh I am sorry I miss read your post. Yes I have the G1 and hope to upgrade in the new year I just don't know what I a my because the new led technology will be out very soon.

Well after some thoughts, not going to spend usd400+ to upgrade gen1 to pro. It's just additional of some LEDs and it doesn't make sense to me.
I mean led is supposed to be cost saving and long lifespan. Every yr uspend few hundreds to add few LEDs and u keep on changing your led clusters and yr old led cluster probably have not even reach 10% of its life hours.

I couldn't agree more with you. It's that there are some much better fixtures coming out this year where you get the affect of the blue LEDs with out all the blue and that's why I was thinking of upgrading. My G1 works well and I really have no complaints, but since I am addicted to reef keeping I am always looking for the edge

The Radion is designed to have air pulled through the unit to keep the LED clusters cool. Reversing the direction of the fall will have negative consequences.
