New Radion?

Well I just purchased a new Radion from a unnamed vendor for now at least.......and when I opened the box I was surprised to see that there was no plastic covering the pucks nor the glossy top, also when I turned it on I have a slight ticking coming from fan could be rubbing slightly. I would like to hear from other Radion owners who could tell me what their light looked like when they opened it for the first time, I am pretty sure they gave me a display or refurb light and I am going to raise some hell if that's the case!

The two I got both had thin white foam over the glossy tops and nothing IIRC on the light pucks. Sounds like the same as you. I doubt you got a refurb, I don't think they sell refurbs, but if the fan is making noise I'd look into a replacement.

Yep sound the same but the fan is definitely ticking
