I reciently bought a RBTA and its about the size of a basket ball when opened up all the way even as beautiful as he is I would like it to split so I can put half in my other tank with my other clowns. WHAT DO I DO :eek1:

Feed it, and hope it doesn't simply get bigger.

Or you can try to stress it to get it to split.

You should wait a few months before you try to make it split. Keep it as healthy as you can in the best conditions you can provide. You need to let it get used to your system first. Don't try to make it split until you know it is growing in your system and healthy. Trying to stess it on purpose could end up killing it now. If it is going to split due to stress alone it will split from the stress of moving to your tank.

I was going to add that stressing it would not be a good idea, but it is one way you could get it to split;)

Here is the pic and it seams to be very happy

80% doesnt sound too good I really hate killing things expecially my beautiful Rose its to big and beautiful to loose. or to talk a chance how do I inflict stress because moving him to my tank didnt work?

I would just give it a few more months. It doesn't look like it is hurting any of your other corals yet. It is kind of hard to get them off the rocks without hurting them to cut them any way. If you decide to cut it a few months from now then you'll now it is good and healthy and you'll have some more time to research it and decide if it's something you really want to do.
