You should consider making an anemone island in your tank if your tank size and aquascaping allow for it. I made a freestanding pillar of two rocks. They are positioned away from all of the other rockwork, so that an anemone would have to climb down the whole pillar and across the barebottom to get to the rest of the reef.
The top rock creates a gap between it and the bottom rock where the anemones wedge into. I've also angled the powerheads and lighting so that the anemones seem pretty happy and seldom move from the island. (They've done it once or twice, but only because I shifted things around.)

That is a really cool idea!! I love how you have so many different kinds of nems on that pillar.
Right now my aquascape isn't going to be easy to change but I will be upgrading froma 5 foot to a 6 foot tank when I move to my new condo in a little more than a year.
I think I'm going to do something like this. I like the idea of having maybe 1 or two islands on each side and leaving it open for fish to swim.
