New RBTA

I got a RBTA in today and it is attached to a rock but completly hidden and looks shrunk and shriveled. It's been in the water about 8 hrs now. Is this ok? It was shipped overnight and was somewhat inflated in the bag

I have kept a RBTA a few years ago but dont remember much of this when I first got the last one.

At first they sometimes deflate to acclimate to the conditions in your tank. A pic and your tank parameters would be helpful.

How did you acclimate?

floated bag and then placed in a bucket with its own water and poured a small amount of tank water in the bucket over about a hal hour then placed directly in the tank and held it against a rock until it attached

RBTAs are pretty hardy. It will extended in no time
