It's been set up nearly 13 months and its in a 240lL 4ft aquarium. I just worry it doesn't look as red as it did in the lfs, but I spose that could be due to moving home. Quite glad it's not hosting my clowns yet as that will give it a chance to settle. Tried it on some prawn yesterday and it loved it which is good I spose.

lighting makes a huge difference in coloration....and if it is new to your system, give it time and it will change.

BTW, what type of lighting do you have it under?

Hi
It's under the juwel standard t5's with 4 aquaray strips added for good measure. They're all timed for sunrise and sunset with 8 hours of light per day.

They always look better under actinics, don't they? There is no guarantee the colors will look the same as they once did. It could depend on lighting type/color spectrum/intensity, water quality and even water flow patterns. Although btas are considered pretty hardy, they do not like environment changes. Still looks good though.

Thank you I appreciate the comments. I know it's early days but I'm a worrier. I suppose the good thing is it has only moved about 2 inches from where I placed it. Also very good lfs gave me the rock the foot was attached to so majorly reduces stress on it.

My RBTA looked the same as yours under my LED lighting; however it looked better with pink tentacles at the person whom I bought the anemone from.

The frosted rainbow is not a rose, it has pink tips at the very tip and there is white all over it with other colors like pink orange purple green and red. Rainbow rose has green disc with couple of short white lines coming out of the mouth. And goes from green to red with purple tips. Rainbow rose 50-100. Frosted rainbow 150-350 depends on colors and size. I would take pic to show but just changed around a few days ago, and they are moving around right now

Cool. Thanks for the info. So that is why it doesn't look like your typical rose then. Must say it does look good though.

Hi all. Update on my nem. This is the fourth week in. It's been pooping quite a bit, but it does enjoy agis pellets lol.
