New Red Sea Max 29g cube.

I’ve been wanting to down size from my 75g and was getting ready to buy the 29g Oceanic Bio Cube. I was going to do a 150w hqi mod for my SPS because I couldn’t find any T5's that would fit the Bio Cube. I currently run T5's on my 75g and have had tremendous success with SPS color and growth. So when I saw the Red Sea Max had T5's I was sold. So I am waiting for the release. T5's don’t release allot of heat and Ill probable switch out the pumps to cooler running pumps. And I love the fact it has built in skimmer. I was not liking my choices of skimmers that were compatible for the Bio Cube and i'm not risking going skimmerless with the SPS I have now.
 
Hey there John_Auberry.... Can you post some pics for those of us who are mechanically challenged? I also own a 29 gal. Bio-cube and would be interested in this set-up. Thanks
 
Thank you John_Auberry, those pics were very helpful. One follow-up question, did you get the small pail that comes with it, or just the skimmer by itself? Thanks again ;)
 
John_Auberry..... Just wanted to know how the tunze skimmer is working out gor you and are you pleased with its' performance?

skimming like hell! Tunze products never cease to amaize me! After have countless other skimmers Im used to hearing them run.....But with the tunze, I find myself checking on it several times a day to see if it is working(because it doesnt make a sound)

Is the skimmer bulging out the rear wall of the tank or is it just a water illusion If it fits without pushing the wall out I will probably order one.

One of the reasons why I will be purchasing this unit is for the original T5 lighting. If I could find T5's that fit the other nanos Id go for one of those and mod the lights to T5's.
 
If you do not mind my jumping in here...I would like to know the cost of the Red Sea Max. Anybody know? After having my 50g tank flood for the 4th time, I'm going back to a cube. thanks, dr

Ya thats the entire system but the display volume is 29g.
