Cool stuff, tanks gonna look great!

I think the all the sps in my tank will love the 14 bulbs beaming bright down on it.
I am going to get a par meter and check everything on my 150 before I break it down then check the new tank before I drop everything in.
With both fixtures on the tank it is edge to edge with bulbs no gaps what so ever.

To much money in t5 fixtures and bulbs for now
But I plan to switch to led at tax season.
I don't have much time to tatt anymore the night job keeps me busy 12 to 16 hours a day 7 days a week but I do catch a 2 day off streak about every 3 weeks or so.
If ecotech was Mac comparable I would have went led but for now they aren't so I chose to stay t 5 for now

I got my steal in and got it cut today.
I will try and get it welded up by mid week.
Then i will Have it powder coated and then it is time for water sand and rock.

Went to go buy the blue line pump and it had been sold so I have to order one now.

Ok I have made a little progress with the stand
I got it all fitted and tacked together.

And I also upgraded my reef tank security system lol

Ok I got the stand all welded up and this week I am going to clean it up and cover it with rubber bed liner.

Brian, look into powder coating that metal. It looks awesome and is fairly cheap. Will last forever.

Took the stand and dropped it off to be soda blasted today!
If all goes well I will start the wood work and counter around the stand next week.

Ok got the stand back after having it coated today i will try and get some picks up in the morning after I put the top and bottom on it

I cut and put the top and bottom 3/4" plywood on this morning

are you painting the edges of the plywood black to blend in?

Three side will be covered in wood and stained
