after a couple years of wanting a reef tank I finally took the plunge. Tank is cycled and been established for 3 months. Currently in the tank is 2 Banggai Cardinal fish. Here what I plan to have. Let me know if its possible or to much. Thanks again. Also is it bad that the first thing I do when I come home from work is go to my aquarium before my wife and kids.

120 gallon 4ft x 2ft x 2ft
Also the order I plan to add.

2 Cardinal Fish (already in the Display)
2 Clownfish ( in QT right now)
1 Green Mandarin (in QT right now)
1 Bi Color Angel ( in QT right now)
1 Midas Blenny
1 Watchman Goby and Pistol Shrimp
1 Flame Angel
1 Purple Tang
1 Power Blue Tang

IMO, I would take off those 2 tangs and maybe look at the Kole/Tomini/Mimic/Yellow to replace them. Everything else looks good. I would add the 2 dwarf angel in together.

Agreed ^^
And I hope you are planning on spending/frequently replenishing the tank with pods for that mandarin.. They should really be reserved for well established tanks..

I think you should be fine. Do you have a sump/fuge and what kind of filtration?

I have a 40G with 20G sump and my parameters are good according to API test kit

2 Clownfish
1 Mandarin,
2 Dragonets
1 Lawnmower Blenny
3 Cardinal Pajamas
1 Watchman
2 Skunk shrimps
1 Fire shrimp
1 Yellow Tang (yes I know but I plan to go bigger later this year)
2 bta
1 lta
2 rock anemones
A gazillion of corals

Officially this tank is 3 months and 15 days old.

I think your tank should be able to support your selection better than mine assuming you have good filtration and workflow with water changes.

I have 35 gallon sump with refugium.

Not working about buying pods. For as much money I've spent on this hobby replenishing pods are my least worry. I plan to try to teach the mandarin eat mysis.

No go on the Tangs. That purple Tang I've had my eye on. I'll take a look at those other suggested fish.

I agree here are better suited tangs as mentioned, and I'd only keep one or two of the smaller species.
I only keep one tang in my 120g
A mandarin could be fine as long as you have a fuge.

I'm just going to +1 on the tangs. I think you could squeeze a yellow and a kole in there so long as you plan on getting rid of one when it gets bigger.
