New rio skimmer quit!!!

I got the nano skimmer at the critter about 2 weeks ago. It quit working today. What do you guys think I should do? Should I take it back to the critter or try to get in touch with rio?

The Critter should take it back no problem. I had bought some light from them along time ago & had a prob with them about 2 months after I bought them & Chris just went over to the shelf & gave me a new fixture no questions asked. Its atleast worth a try since the skimmer is so new. Is it not working at all? No movement of water bubbles or anything?

Nothing... The little pump quit. I will give them a call tommorrow and see what they say..

I was going to pick one up but was pointed away from it in the prop tank forums.

I am really happy though with the Red Sea Prisim skimmer though.

How well does the skimmer work? I am looking for something to go on my dwarf seahorse tank. It doesn't have to be super clean like an sps tank but it needs to be pretty small to fit. The tank is only 10" tall.

They took care of me. RCmike, the skimmer works pretty well. It skims quite a bit of nasty stuff out on a daily basis.

I got one a while ago. It looks like it will work pretty good after it gets broken in.
