new RO/DI unit- please help

Ok, I need help. I installed a Coral Life 4 stage, 50 gpd ro/di unit tonight. Tap water readings are 254ppm, and after di readings are 1ppm. What am I doing wrong??? Thanks.

if they are new filter u need to run 10 gallon of the ro/di at first after see what the tds reading if still read 1ppm change the di resin.

Yes, better readings now. maybe just some dust from the carbon or something. I was also getting readings of 3-5ppm, but I wasn't using a perfectly clean glass to collect water in. the TDS meter is so sensitive. 000ppm this morning. yay! Thank you!
