New rock flower anemone help(pics)

Purchased my first anemone(green rock flower) yesterday. Placed him on a rock wall after acclimation at bottom of tank with powerheads off. He wandered an inch or so over and lodged himself in a crack, sat there with his mouth hanging open.
He closed it for a while, but by this morning it was back to hanging open, and he started spitting(pooping?) dark brown stuff out of his mouth. Halides were on for about an hour before I noticed this behavior and turned them off.

Normal sign of stress from travel/new tank or horrible sign of impending death? Advice? Leave halides off for a few days maybe?

It seem OK to me. I would just leave the light on instead of turn it off. These anemones are very hardy and should recover fine

1month later update.

RF anemone still alive. Closes his mouth when the lights go out, but still frequently has it hanging open in the day. Maybe it's hoping something will swim in? :)
No loss of color or any visible changes. Happily takes anything we feed it.
Seems fine except for the mouth, but it's my first nem so I guess only time will tell.
