Well I took a chance on one off of ebay for 104.00 plus free shipping so here it is and I will hook up tomorrow and see how it does. It is a 50g pd and came with a Axeon Membrane, wrench etc. It has a duel Di on top so it is a 6 stage. Here are some pics... I would love to buy from a RC sponsor but I had to save some money in this economy. I will let you know how this works over a few days as I will be buying a TDS meter.

When you get your TDS meter take a tap water sample.

Then take the line loose coming out of the RO membrane, before the DI and take another sample.

This is to calculate the efficiency of the membrane. Let's say the tap is 150 and out of just the membrane is 4.
150 - 4= 146

146 / 150 = .97 or 97%

That's not bad but 98% would be better. Any lower than 96% and you'll be using up DI resin much faster.

Zero TDS isn't the gold standard of RO/DI. You can put tap water through DI resin and get zero TDS. You'll just use a lot more of it.

Also keep on eye on those horizontal DI cartridges. They have a tendency to channel.

I bought through this company Purewaterclub.com..... I guess to keep the Di cartridges from channelling I will have to take of and shake every few weeks. I hope it works great!

You can always re-mount the DI cartridges in a vertical position, they don't have to be clipped on the top like that. A little extra tubing & maybe a new fitting or two & you won't need to shake 'em.

I have the same one also. Had it for probably 4-5 years. I have changed around the configuration a bit and now I only use spectrapure filters etc. Does the job!
