New set up questions??

I will be setting up a new mixed reef (more soft and lps corals than sps) 120gal Oceanic with dual overflows and was wondering what stream set up you would recomend. I'll be running either 750 gal/hr or 1500 gal/hr from my sump to my returns (not sure which, any suggestions). Is the new interval II setting worth waiting for (what are its advantages)? Will the 7094 price be dropped and when will the new controller be available? Thanks.

Interval II mainly keeps the risk of fish entering the pump down as it is always running. The 7094 price will stay the same, the 7095 is about $50 more. I think the 7095 is definitely much better but you will have to be willing to wait.

Two 6000's and I would do 750gph return at most. 600 would be my personal preference.

Thanks Roger. Many people have recomended 10x my tank volume and it seems like a waste. Probably some serious noise issues as well.

Noise and a lot of wasted electricity and heat production. Not to mention the filter is just that- a filter and not a circulation device. Filters work best between3-5 turns an hour.
