New setup pics and progress...

OK, I finally got around to getting some sleep after the long haul back so I'm awake enough to posts some pics.


First- Here are the DIY Lumenarcs I made after installing the mounting brackets and mogul sockets. The first one took a while but I was able to race through the last two in about 3 hours. The light spread and intensity on these are so much better than my other reflectors it's not even funny....

Here's a pic of the new stand and canopy I built to replace the old ones that I threw together and was getting really sick of looking at...They really look a lot better in person....

Here's a pic of the canopy with the reflectors mounted and halfway full....

Looks great Kent. That is kewl you made those. Does the base have the equipment you need to do that?

Thanks Mark- Actually, I got everything from Lowes. I picked up 3 of those solatube extensions, a few boxes of rivets and rivet tool, tin snips, and a length of 1/8" x 2.5" aluminum bar for the bracket. I think total cost for each was around $40......

You should totally make up a paper documenting the creation of your reflectores they are great looking!
