New six head Torch. How to get it of the "plug"?

Pick up this awesome six head Torch at my LFS today. Really like the color and size but would like to get it off the "rock" it is mounted to. Is that even possible or would I be better off just trimming down the size of the rock itself?

i would leave it... but if you wanted to cut it use a dremel cut at the lowest part near the rock..

Honestly, I would just snap it off. It looks like you should get a clean break where it's bonded to the rock.

No risk of damaging it if it does not snap right by the rock? How far down in the "tubs" are Torch?

I could possible get away with cutting off the rock here. Might be the safest?

you could snip anywhere an inch down on each head but I suggest leaving it on and mounting it at an angle on the rock, it will fill in and you won't see it. Jmo

As NH reefer kid mentioned, the only thing living in that stalk is right up near the polyp. You could easily snap them off at the base, but then you'd have two separate stalks. It looks like they're joined and embedded in epoxy and I bet if you took a dremel or screwdriver to the "rock" you could chip it away from the base of the skeletons/stalks.

Could just be the picture, but it looks like they're getting blown around a bit. Just make sure you have them in gentle flow wherever you end up putting them.

Managed to cut down the rock some and it is not sitting at its final spot. Here is a short video of it.
