New skimmer

That sucks matt. That was a lot of money for the packing to be done with a boppy pillow. I would be a little hot myself. Hopefully you can get some of your money back and salvage the skimmer to make it work

Man that bites. It looks like the input could be glued, but as it is going to be under pressure it may be best to rebuild the unit.
Though it may be tough to match up the unions, there are several different thread pattens for those.

If it helps, my MR2 was once broken across the flange , but the previous owner fixed it with weldon and I have never had a problem with it.

AJ :)

That sucks Matt. If that piece fits you could easily glue it back together. As for the unions, if you can't fix them Lowes has some you could fix it with. If it was insured you could get your money back and most likely keep the unit to try and fix.
Meyers Plastic sells Weld-on #16 acrylic glue pretty cheap. I have a small tube also if you dont have any.

I would bet by looking at the packaging that the insurance won't cover the bad packaging job. Been there.
If you try, and they do cover the damage, they don't give the unit back to you. Been there also.
Will the seller back it? I would hope so. As far as repair, I believe that you could send back to MRC and they will repair for a fee.

If it helps, I have a Panworld PS200 and a Sequence Uno Wahoo sitting around. The Wahoo needs new seals.
I also have a brand new Dart pump collecting dust.
PM if at all interested.
