new spot

you are lucky your plumbing was only 100 dollars, mine was 400 and on the way from bulk reef supply. Apparently 2" fittings for sequence pumps are not cheap.

Well, it would cost $100 to redo it. I'm not exactly sure of the pricetag of the whole deal from the start. He got all of his plumbing from a local guy, so I'm sure it was a bit cheaper. We got a sequence pump too, and it is so quiet...I'm very impressed with it so far...

create a photo bucket account. www.photobucket.com

than you upload images and once you do that it will give you an HTML code and you copy and paste that code right onto your posts and it works, or at least that is how i am doing it now.

The sequence is quiet, that really excites me. I just cant wait to have my pump out of my sump. I think my plumbing is alot because i put alot of ball valves in the system so i could remove it of the system to clean it all in muratic acid every 6 months. Major problem with my other system.

Can I get directions? Also, Val, have you set a time that you are going to be there? I'll be going to church with my Mom that morning but available after that. I may have four teens and my 3 yr old with me but most likely the teens will sit in the car and blast my music.

Did I point you in the right direction or what??

YES, you need to post pics of your system. That way if any of us see something we think could be a major issue, we can point it out to you, before you fill it up.

I filled my tank and now wish I have moved it over another 1.5". Oh well.

We have, I believe 6 ball valves...that is what Alan would have done differently. He placed everyting right behind the tank, making it have to sit out from the wall 10", and harder to get at from the stand (underneath). The afterthought was that he should have ran everything straight down, and then put all the ball valves, etc. in the stand. Next time it will be done the right way. I'll post pictures this afternoon if I can get the photobucket thing to work.

Cammie, we are heading out around 5am, probably picking up Garrett around 7:30ish if that works with him, although I'm not sure if I can handle him in a vehicle for a couple hours - he's been such a smarta** lately (j/k Garrett:) ). We should get to Rapids around 8:30-9am. I am going to need directions too, Andre', in the event that Garrett doesn't come with us...

Oh, and YES James, you did point me in the right direction...after a bunch of research on it, I decided it was the way to go - thanks!

Check out True Union Ball Valves... A little costly, but you can literally turn of the water and disconnect the PVC pipe. I use them a lot!!

Val, Andre is going to send a few things back with you for me, 2 jugs of ARM Aragonite Media and a 1/4hp chiller. If there is a space issue, ditch the chiller and just bring the ARM media. If you guys are going to be in TRF tonight (Friday), I'll buy you a beer at Cafe Rhombus and give you the money ($20) for Andre.

I Garrett starts to act up, give him a time out!! Also, if you guys need foam coolers and such, stop by tonight and I can let you borrow some to transport your goodies. I should have given them to you when you were here last.

That sounds like it will be a bit too early for me. How long do you think you'll be there? I need to find out what time church will be over. We can leave Balsam township right after and head over. If I miss you, maybe you can take my starfish and mushroom home for me? $15 worth that I can take care of however you want.

Sorry. I was trying to figure out if you'd still be there after church when I thought I'd be available. As it turns out, my family is all getting together at my Mom's after church since we're going to be there. So, could you guys pick my stuff up? Maybe Garrett could bring it home for me and I could pay him when I retrieve it?

Not a problem, if Garrett is game....I just want to get home as quickly as possible with everything...I'll let you know as soon as I know if Garrett is really coming with us or not...

Yeah val, see that is why my plumbing was so expensive. Its cause i did these union ball valves. they were like 30 dollars a piece. I will take pics of all the gear i got today, everything but the RO and the dude cutting my tank ran out of glass so I am SOL until next weekend at least just to get my sump assembled. Makes me wanna cry kinda. I also got the new skimmer today and it is rediculous.

hey, as a side note, if you google directions, make it take you THROUGH grand rapids instead of the road through deer river-one of the side roads SEEMS nice, until you get to the SSSSSS part.

It MIGHT be 5 miles longer, but if its not a nice day out, may be worth it. Or if your from Florida and don't know how to drive on snow and ice ;)

Actually from Michigan.... But a 4x4 takes most of the worry out of driving in snow.... Or you just don't drive... BTW, i think I bought a sled today!! Arctic Cat of course.

which artic cat, and by the way i am really excited to see what is faster than the yamahas out of the box, i will be real suprised because they are pretty much ridiculously fast but suck driving.

It will be released to the public on Tuesday. I cannot say anything until then. Yes, Yami's are VERY cold to ride... No deflection at all... The one I am looking at it a 99ZL from a fellow engineer. He has taken good care of it. I plan to have some experienced guys look it over for me before I pull the trigger...

yeah yamas are real fast, but they will never be found on the race track with all that weight. So james are you an engineer by trade like a bachelors in engineering of some sort? I went to IT at U for ME and worked for 3m and HATED it. So now i am in construction and lovin it. I am big fan of polaris and ski doo, but never been on any arctic cats recently, its not that i dont like them, i have a few family members that race for arctic cat, I just have a hard time riding anything other than the new style of tubular chasis. They just seem to flow through the air more and with the smaller front ends it is just so much more responsive in my opinion. The reason i went with the rev is just because of it. But now Polaris has gotten back into it i think i will get a newer fusion next year.
