New SPS Shadow Tank in HK

Nice build thus far. To keep the algae from growing while the tank is cycling turn off the lights, no need to have them on anyways right now. If you are going to set up a fuge then do it now and get the lighting and algae growing in in, that will also help a ton with algae in the display. Get a bunch of snail and hermit crabs as well to help keep thing clean as the tank cycles.
 
Nice build, thanks for taking the time to post on it. Can you explain what the cables to your light hood are attached to at the ceiling? Is that some kind of roller that can electrically raise and lower the hood?

Will consider add a fuge later.

After the chiller finished,Will get 2-3 Surgeonfish ,snail and hermit crab.

You are welcome ,
this is the Remote light lifter which can remote the light raise and lower.

Will take some time to take a vedio.
 
Nice idea. I have started searching for such devices in the US and it seems they are used to raise and lower window curtains and blinds. Thanks for your reply.

Nice progress on your build. I like the idea of lift for lights having few contact points with ceiling. Does it have wireless remote? Look forward to more info. May I ask you to PM me who makes that device? Is it available in U.S.?
