New store in the Birmingham Area...

Just thought I would let everyone know that we have been hard at work for the past month opening up a new saltwater aquarium store. The location is just off of I-459 on exit 6 in the new shopping center next to the dollar general and right behind arby's. We will be carrying more of the rare stuff but still have a wide selection for everyone. We have been selling online now for 2 years and decided to open up a retail location to provide more selection for the Birmingham area. We will be getting livestock in this coming week and will be here on thursday if you would like to drop by. The grand opening will be Saturday August 6th. We will be carrying all types of corals including SPS both wild caught and ORA raised, clams, fish, inverts, and dry goods. Any type of equipment can be ordered at a very reasonable price comparative to online prices.

That is the site, thanks greenbean. I have stopped putting inventory due to opening up the store but once we get up and running we will be putting all new additions online. We will keep it up to date and give you a chance to add items to your cart and pick them up at the store and pay here or pay online. Just add in the comments section when you will be picking up and we will have it ready for you.

the store hours will be 11-6 T-F and we're lookin at 11-7 Saturday and 11-6 on Sunday. We will be closed on monday. The hours are tentative and we will see how it goes and adjust accordingly.

I needed some calcium reactor media. I went to Argo, a guy struggling to make it (again) as a LFS - he said his suppliers didn't know what it was. I went to a very large fancy store - they tried to sell me the reactor but didn't have the media to go in it (what use is that????) I went to Sarris - they didn't have it but said that they would get it. I didn't give them my name but they some how found me on RC and sent a PM the next week that the ARM was in. Sharp guys these Auburn grads =-}

The new hours are tues - thurs 11-6, fri and sat 11-7 and sunday 1-6.
We are slowly stocking our inventory and hope to have frags of all kinds soon enough.

Congrats on opening your new shop, I hope it does very well for you.

I have a question reguarding livestock. I live down in Maplesville, and need some lrg turbo snails( about half a dozen ). I hate to make a trip all the way up to your store to find out you dont have them. So I was wondering if you wouldnt mind touching base with me and letting me know if you have any in stock and what the price of them is?

I will most likely be coming up this saturday if you do have them.

I plan on stopping by to see your new store at some point reguardless.
