I drove by the new store on Bearss and Livingston yesterday it has a sign in the window that states they are having their grand opening on Sept. 30th. I think it will be called Tampa Bay Aquarium. It is in a small plaza with a gas station right on that corner. There is a sign on the street that says "tropical fish" which could mean it is freshwater only however I did see marin products on the shelves. Either way it is going to be a pretty small store. Let me know if any of you have any more information on it.

do you mean the one next too Publix? I went there the other day, they have a small selection of corals, and some fish.
I think the one one 54 and Collier is called Pet City. I would like to see them do well, but this stores corals health is not up to my standards. Compare this store to some others and make up your own minds.
I saw the LFS at Bears and Livingstong this morning. It is close by, so I will check it out in October after it opens.

I believe that is the one, it is next to the new Publix.... I have been in there once and like I said jury is still out on this one....

Stopped by the new store today it looks very clean and the owner was very knowledgable. The store is small dry good supplies are limited. He told me they will be expanding the amount of tanks. I thought the prices were really great too. They are hiring by the way so those of you who live near by check it out.
