New stream, No O-Ring?????

Sadly my seized stream couldn't be saved, so I got myself a new motorhead & shaft yesterday....

The motorhead is now black rather than brown & doesn't seem as heavy? Also the new shaft is the all in one version with fixed prop & no brakes.....

What I did notice is though there is no Orange O-ring like what used to sit right down inside the bottom, is this right please?

The O ring is generally not included if you got the motor block only as spare part 6100.015. It is included if you got a complete motor 6100.100. Basically you would just need to pull the oring off your old one, or as a spare part it is 3000.02. The weight should be the same, black is the new color as of last July.

The trouble is Roger these "bits" came from a complete 6100 (I have a good relationship with my local fish store) & he opened two boxes & neither of them had the O-ring in them?????

I presume that they are still orangey coloured???

Also if thats the case when you bought the "old" complete shaft kit (with brakes) it included the O-ring, I notice the new shaft does not?

Well, that is strange, I haven't seen that happen yet here. The new one piece drive unit only has the one oring that is under the upper bearing.
