This guy is a monster!!! 5 1/2 inches plus!!

He acclimated well... Did 2 hours.... He did dive for the rocks... I can see him looking out of the tank facing me... How long do these super males take to come out and explore??

Thanks,

Very Nice Coloration! One of the Nicest one I have seen. Shouldn't take longer than a day or 2 before he comes out to explore if no one is picking on him on the tank. Take some picture when he's out.

Gorgeous! I would definitely have picked that one up if I saw it locally!

Thx Guys,
Now I just need him to get out and about. He's hanging out in a rock...
I can see him, he looks fine....
I do have a few tangs, Hippo, Sailfin, and purple....
Hope they all get along!

Be patient. Sometimes fairies and flasher take several days, in my limited experience.

So I saw him making his way in and out of the rocks last night.... Saw him at the front of the tank once or twice... My BlueThroat Trigger kind of chased him into the rocks. :(

The Fish is in it's same bunker hole, looking out at the from of the tank.... So 24-30 hours later I saw him out a tad.... This a good sign?? Fed this morning, he didn't come out..

Margin is doing great!!! Super Social, and eating well!! So I took the plunge and got an XL Scotts Friday... He he's been hiding for 3 days now.... Same kinda behavior... This one is kinda just hanging out in the same spot, cacooning..... I see the shed around it... It's breathing fine... Hoping this one is gonna turn the corner soon....

Please make sure your tank is covered very well. I've lost some great wrasses even with a screened top.

I will double that. Just lost my female flame wrasse because she got through my netting somehow. Got home the next night and the male was dead. Bummer.

Cover your tank with 1/4" clear netting from BRS.

Very nice !!!
I have supermale too but it's very aggressive and killed 2 of my lineatus But it's great with my giant Scott's fairy and other 30+ wrasses.now i am afraid of it killing my harem of rhomboid.

We need pics :)

He looks absolutely gorgeous from the first pics. Never seen one with such bright colors before.

Another +1 to netting. Saw my hooded getting chased by the labouti then heard my screen getting jostled around when it stopped the jumping hooded. Sketchy for sure!

Beautiful fish! Definitely a keeper

How about a photo of that scotts?
