i plan to add another tank, thats the last space i can manage, so i want it to hold something special.
The Tank will be
Width: 85cm (33.46")
Height: 60cm (23.62")
Depth: 40cm (15.75")
Your tank's volume is 204,000.0 cubic centimeters or 204.0 liters, which is approximately 52.4 U.S
with a clear glass front.
the primary for this tank are corals, as in my big tank are anemones, Zoanthids and mostly soft corals.
So i add a Maxspect r420r Light, that i can get from my friend for a reasonable price, then i like those reef plates, so i try to get a fitting one from my lfs. i will glue it on small round live rocks as base.
technique ive thought so far:
So i will add a small skimmer, preferably a hang-on type, that takes away no tank space as i wont add a sump, or maybe a tunze 9001, that one seems to be very small, pls suggest a good skimmer.
im not sure about gfo or carbon, but id like to have it and how i would even manage to add one without looking to bulky, taking away precious tank space, the only one i can think about is those aqua medic multi reactors
maybe you can suggest me a better method. i dont want anything out of the aquarium though, so no hoses, etc. everthing must be in the tank or hang on, but i can only use the left side of the tank for hangon stuff, so those 40 cm, an the skimmer is taking up that space as well.
Id like to have only 1 or 2 Interessting fish, so i dont have any chance of overfeeding, i dont plan to add any hiding space, small round stones as base and a big or 2 smaller plates for coral space thats it.
I always liked the Longnose Hawkfish as for the looks, looks like those prehistoric fish, but i read much about how aggressive they are to small fish or shrimps so i couldnt add one in my 90gallon tank.
are they truly that aggressive to shrimps? id like to add a type of Boxer Shrimp
or mabye another fish that is preferably a predator (i have already a mantis shrimp in my smaller tank or that wouldve been a choice as well) i have no problems feeding it with clam meat, or frozen smaller fish, a moray is getting to big, and i cant add a big enough tank, that wouldve been interessting.
Only thing important nothing that will harm corals.
