New Tank

Well I finally did it . I bought the new tank , 150 gallon . It measures 36 x 36 x 27 tall . I am getting ready to order the Stream's for it . I want to be able to control the pumps ,so do I need to run a pair of 6105's or can I get away with a pair of 6055's . I will buy the controller at a later date for I am going over budget a little . I will be keeping a mixed reef . Some SPS and LPS with a bunch of small fish .

I think 2-3 6055's will be the best way to go, 2 6055 and a nano wavebox would be a very nice set up.

I have a Sea Swirl rotating return devise on the inlet to the tank , that should give me some wave action in the tank , I hope . I only want to have 2 pumps in the tank , less to look at . So if 2 6055's will work I am all over it . let me know .

Yes, probably the combination will work fine, I think the 6105's are too much and the 6055's may be not quite enough, but a 3rd pump or the seaswirl should likely be enough with the 2 pumps.

I guess I will go with two 6055's and see how it works out with the seaswirl . You saved me a little money with the 6055's , so now I can buy the 7096 controller . If needed I will add third pump or nano wavebox at later date . The wavebox sounds interesting .
