Hi,
I recently moved to Hollywood and heard about your organization via someone on reefcentral. I am interested in joining a local reef/marine aquarium club and i was reffered to you, i was wondering where and when you have meetings, and what it takes to be an active member, also what kind of programming you might have?>
Thanks

Here's a little information on the next meeting:
This month we are very proud to have Julian Sprung as a speaker. Julian is a long time member and club supporter. Julian has written many books including "The Reef Aquarium" (3 volumes), "Reef Notes", and many others. At this meeting Julian will most likely hold a book signing. The meeting is free for all to attend. It will be held at the New River Middle School Library, 3100 Riverland Rd, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33312 on August 22nd @ 7:15. As usual, there will be a frag/livestock auction. Please bring any frags you may have to help out.

Brian

Welcome!!! We have a very friendly attendance at the meetings, and this meeting should bring some of the more "lurking" members out of the woodwork. We hope to see you there!

BTW Ryan

is it ok to show up late
Thats up to you......But if your late more then 3 times you will have to sit in the corner till the meetings over......lol:rollface:    Just kidding

Hey i got a question do yall sell frags at meetings, are they affordable, i might bring some money if there is gonna be coral frags for sale....
Ryan

We usually have a frag/fish auction at the end of each meeting. I believe this month will be the same. Also we hope to be having another big frag swap / equipment sale in November.

Welcome Ryan ...
I just joined recently myself, it's a great group of people with a wide range of experience. They have had a great auction at the end of every regular meeting that I have attended, so be sure to bring your wallet.
