New to BTA, questions on behaviour

Hello I have a 20l that has been set up about for around 8-9 months not much in it, just a goby and a variety of polyps, softs and a few LPS, under 2x65 watt PC's, with 2x108gph hydor mini powerheads and it has a aquaclear 110 home-made fuge, and a remora skimmer on it and water quality is perfect, anyway I got a small bta clone from the lfs yesterday, I put him on a drip for a couple hours, and I put him where I was hoping he would stay....yeah freakin right. Any way a hour later he let go and decided he wanted to go floating for a bit then he landed in the back corner of the tank and then took hold of the rock in the back . Right now he is just holding on back there and only about 1/2 of his tentacles is in the light. Is this normal? How long before they start moving around? He is looking better then when I got him his color is coming back and he has opened up alot more, also I gave him some brine and mysis shrimp and as soon as it hit his tentacles he closed them around it and proceeded to eat it....im guessing because I cant freaking see his mouth!!!!! Help please :)

Yep, thats normal. Cover your intakes, or he'll get shredded. I'd skip the brine shrip. Mysis is good so is silversides, krill and pieces of raw shrimp. I don't think you have enough lighting for a BTA.

He'll move when he wants to. Post a pic if you can.

This is a good site to check out:

I will post pics when I can get a camera that will take clear pics of the tank, the one I have now is a piece, i had been wondering if this was going to be enough light and I had been asking around and most people said it would be ok as long as he could get to a spot close enough to the light, but of course some people are die hard mh fans and some said a lot of pc wattage would be ok. I covered all my intakes with sponges for the moment till i can rig something better,
