Have been looking for a rebel t3 at a good price, got this offer and was wondering if it's a good deal. this is our first dslr and we don't know much about lenses.

I currently have the T3i body with approximately 4600 shutter actuation on it.
-battery charger
-3 batteries
-16gig 100x sd card (Lexar)
-Canon EFS 55-250mm f/4 -4.5 IS lens
-Canon 50mm f1.8
-Canon Ultrasonic 28-135mm IS with Macro (w/ Lens hood)
-Intervalometer (wired trigger release)

All lenses have UV Filters on them to protect the glass.

Is this a good package? Wili i miss the 18-55mm lense?

Thanks for the advice.

The 28-135mm lens is a zoom telephoto, not a macro.

The 55-250mm lens is also a zoom telephoto with more zoom and telephoto.

The 50mm is a "prime" lens (no zoom). Typically prime lenses offer a visual quality edge. Because this lens opens to f1.8 (versus f4-4.5 on the 55-250mm), it will allow more light to fall on the sensor and will perform better in darker environments than the other lenses.

The EFS mount is intended for camera backs with APS-C image sensors (like yours) and while many EF capable cameras will work with an EFS mount lens, those will full frame sensors will not.

If the UV filters are not quality glass, I would remove them. Putting cheap glass in front of a good lens will likely degrade image quality.

CANON REBEL T3I W/18-55 IS II/75-300 USM
Webcode: CANKIT407

18.0 MP CMOS Digital SLR
EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS Lens
EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 USM II/III AF

Would cost 699.99 plus tax is 790 the forementioned pack is about 800 dollars.

Just wondering which way to go.

So basically your saying the used pack is overpriced. Any suggestion for a Canon dslr. I am in north of the border so pricing is about 1/3 higher here for the exact same photo equipment you sell there.
