I'm looking at getting my first tank. I'd like to put it on my restoration hardware desk (which is essentially a flat service sitting on top of heavy cabinetry).
I'm thinking of a starphire front glass 96" in L. The base it will sit on is exactly 24" deep.

Questions:
- What brand(s) should I look into?
- I might have an electric wall heater in this room/sharing the same wall (above the tank) because it can get cold in the winter, how much can this affect the tank/livestock?
- Would a chiller be able to offset any extraneous heat an electric fireplace could put out/heat in the summer?
