Well...the title sorta gives it away. I have a few questions regarding a sump I recently purchased for my Pico (Nano?) build. My first tank is a 10"x10''x15'' acrylic tank (little over 6 gallons). I purchased a 7 gallon nano sump tank from eBay and am a little confused.
How exactly does it work? From my understanding water flows from tank to sock filter? But I am clueless after that.
What equipment do I need in addition? Return Pump? Power Head? Protein Skimmer? If so, where exactly do they go?
What size pump should I be looking at? (I had my eye on a Cobalt MJ600)
Here is the sump tank I purchased:
Dimensions: 15" L x 6.5" W x 15" H
Sump Capacity (Gallons) 7
Pump Chamber Area (L x W): 4 3/8" x 6"
1'' Bulkhead Input
Flow Rate 450gph
Any help is greatly appreciated
