New to marine, Just showing my set up.

Hi,

Just joined the forum and wanted to show everyone what I have invested in. I set the tank up on the 1/9/12 and im pretty happy with the it so far. I welcome any ideas on how to make tank look better and any advise on my corals and fish

Lighting - 4 x 54w T5 lighting with Giesemann bulbs
Lighting - AquaRay AquaBeam 600 Ultra Strip - Reef Blue Twin
Power heads - SICCE Voyager 4 Stream with wave controller

I love how you set up the rocks that was really creative! Are the towers solid by themselves or did you have to reinforce them somehow? It looks like a great platform for different corals and hidey holes for other life while still looking clean and easy to maintain and hunt down hitchhikers. What kind of rock is that? Also, ha. Started all the way back in january and still a noob huh? I got a long fun road ahead of me. Im planning on starting in november

That looks very similar to an african cichlid tank I had years ago. 3d back ground, black substrate, fancy texas holy rock.

You can... How large are the ones you are referencing?

Did you get information for setting up your tank from a LFS or online? Just curious so we can help you make less mistakes in the future and help point you in the direction to keeping a healthy reef tank.
