New to salt,Live rock ?

I am setting a 180 up for salt and would like to buy about 200lbs of uncured live rock.Does anyone recommend a distributor?How about a certain local of rock?What is the best type of salt to use?Thank you all in advance.

There are lots of dealers. The Vendor Experiences forum has a lot of reviews, usually. The choice of rock has a lot of personal taste involved, so I'd suggest looking at some samples, although live rock is fairly variable.

Lots of people are successful with Instant Ocean salt. I'd avoid SeaChem and Oceanic, for reasons of ionic balance.
