New to salt water

Hi

I bean doing freshwater fish tank for about 20 years now. I will be move to AZ soon. So Im going to be redoing my tanks. I want to turn my 48 gallon to a fish-only tank( or Mantis shrimp).

I have a light and heater.

I have a dual-purpose cabister filter. Its for up to 55 gallons. It say for freshwater and marine.

I know I would need life rocks/sand and a skimmer.

What are other stuff I would need to make this tank?

So you will be reusing your freshwater tank? Did you ever dose anything in it?

It was a freshwater tank. But with me moveing. I took evertning out and clean it real good. So it good as new.
