BUT EXOTIC AQUATIC!! its right down the street from my house, i feel lucky :D lots of really nice fish

has anyone every bought from them before, i just like to hear input from other people, ive had such bad luck with stores before.
at least the guy whats his name, was really nice to me. rob or something like that.

i also went down to that place ecoreef, larry told me about fmas and here i am, his store was nice, he said he was going to do a lot of work to it, cant wait to see how it turns out.

and adivice on local stores for me?

Generally everyone here has "their favorite LFS to go to." I prefer Coral Reef Farm off of sterling and 95. They have a great selection of corals/fish/LR, and Jeff and David are really friendly people. I hear great things about reef life and exotic aquatic. You will only know for sure when you go check them all out yourself. I hope that helps.

hey exotic aquatic has a really nice fish selection if that is what you are looking for, they also have a nice coral selection. the best place for coral is coral seas pets, he has some awesome tanks setup there. i haven't been down to reef life or reefs edge, but hear that they are really nice. good luck with your searching, lol.

I have taken time to explore the most of the stores on the list, Exotic Aquatic is great, I love Reef Life and Reefs Edge. The quality of the stores give you the opportunity to find exactly what you want. Personally I find a store I like an make most of my purchases there. Which would be Reef Life, but once again Exotic Aquatic is great too.

Also Welcome to the neighborhood.

Welcome to the area Tropical lyle, were are you coming from? There is a few must see stores in the area, Big Al's is very impressive with the largest inventory in salt and fresh water and tons of common dry goods with very good prices.
Reeflife is just as impressive with only Salt water and an emphasis in reefs and higher tech equipment and chemicals, the store is really original in their display designs and IMO is gear to the more experienced hobbiest their prices are very fair and Pat the owner gives a discount to the club members.
Coral reef farm is a very clean, initially intended solely for internet sales and slowly turning into a retail store with a lot of potential, their emphasis is mostly corals with limited fish and dry goods.
Eco-reef is a store with lots of potential and tons of experience between the two owners, it is in the process of becoming a Marine only store and I will definetely keep on visit them.
Reefsedge, is a nice store with excellent customer service from the owner and his wife, they have a very impressive center display tank as well as a good selection of dry goods, this store is also gear to coral and reeftanks.
Coral Sea Pets, is a very nice little store, they have maximize their space to bring the best of eqipment and livestock the owner Robbie is very hummble & knowlegable and egor to answer any questions and offer his opinion.

Please feel free to come to our club meeting to take place on the fourth Tuesday of each month, this month meeting will be on the 28th you can see more details in this same forum.

Good luck

Rogger
