New to the area

My wife and I are moving to Mechanicsburg next month. Prior to relocating from Cleveland to our temporary home in Newport I sold off all my reef stuff... I didn't think there was a club in the area.

She thinks I've kicked the hobby... little does she know I'm secretly stalking the forums again =) MUAhahahahahaha =)

Welcome to the area! Theres tons of stuff around to get you back into the hobby for relatively cheap. Hit us up when u need to stock that thing with coral

@CakemanPA - Thanks for the invite, unfortunatly we had to do some house shopping on Sunday... UGH!, window treatments, bedspread, refridgerator... Nothing like listening to football on your cell phone sitting in a parking lot because you don't get signal in the store...

@khusson1 - Thank you for the info... we'll see how things go... I dropped the first hint over the weekend and I got a big eye roll. So its a start at least =)

An eye roll is better than a NO! Lol. Always remember, forgiveness is easier to get than permission theres always a few hands ready to move a tank in!

@khusson1 - True story... How can she say no when the 300g tank is already in the basement? LOL (Just Kidding) =) Once we move into our house and get our things setup I'll see where I would want a tank and then see what size would fit. I've had a 150g tall before which was a pain to clean but it was in my living room so I got to enjoy it often... I had a 40g breeder after that which was easier to clean but it was in my office so I didn't get to see it that often.... We'll see how things go.

@2turtles - Ahhh yes... da'Brownies pulled off yet another upset =)... Lets see how they do next week against the Jets... who almost lost to the Lions and really should have lost... the Lions gave them that one.

As for how we ended up in Newport... Prior to meeting me my wife had applied for some jobs down in this area because her parents lived in Newport and she wanted to be closer to them. She had forgot about it until one day after we were engaged she got a call from a company down here with an offer we just couldn't refuse. I've always loved spending time in northwest PA on vacations growing up so it was an easy sell for her to get me to move. And after about 12 months of living in her parents basement, we close on our new house in 28 days =)
