Hey all,

I just got my own little tank. It ia a 6 gallon JBJ nano cube. I know its tiny compared to some of the monster tanks you guys have but I am still super excited :celeb1:

My question is this: What type of Zoas should I start with? Are some easier to care for than others? I would prefer to start with those. Any info would be great.

Also if you want to post pictures of any specific specis please feel free to do so:spin3:

Zoos are all fairly easy...I would just pick out the ones you think are pretty ;)
Well said. Dont spend much at first and see how they do and get a feel for what kind of flow and lighting they like.

as long as you keep stable parameters, keep up with husbandry, good lighting and flow you should be able to keep almost any coral that can be kept with the lighting you have.
what type of lighting ( PC/T5/MH )? Power heads?

I'd ask a friend what thier favorite is adn try to get a frag of that. In doing so you'll be able to talk to someone who knows "its personality" current and light needs, hardiness, etc. You'll also avoid the cost.

I love zoas too, but make sure to get other species so if you have a disease outbreak it won't be a disaster. Zoas are fairly expensive for what you get to boot.
