New to the hobby

Just want to say hello to everyone I am relativity new to this forum. I am in the process of getting into the hobby. Picked up a 120RR a few months ago that is currently being stored in the basement until I finish the new family room. I sold my wife on the idea of a basement sump so I am pretty excited to get started.

The room looks like it will be a nice place to sit and relax!
Is that where you will be putting the tank? If so be careful with that much direct sunlight on it! It will grow algae in your tank and make your water warmer in the summer with the sun beating on it.

Thanks everyone. We are planning on putting the tank on an interior wall hopefully minimizing the amount of direct sun light. If everything goes well the windows should be installed over the long weekend. Anyone have a basement sump installed? If so do you have a chiller?
