Hey, i'm new to the hobby and am getting my very first saltwater tank soon for my birthday, my plans are to get a toadstool coral, a bubble tipped anemone, a clown fish, a midas blenny, and some other fish i don't know what kind im after at the moment. I was wondering how would this anemone be with my kind of selection of fish and coral, also how do i feed this anemone and when do i feed it? I need to know if my fishys and coral will be safe with the bubble tipped anemone, thank you in advance replies (: :bounce1::bounce2:

As long as the tank is large enough and not a small tank. The tank needs to be going for at leat 6 months before adding a bta. I waited 10 months before adding mine

okay thanks man, i plan on having a bunch of cleaning things such as shrimps, snails, crabs, and what not ahah but i defiantly will have my clownfish, most likely a midas blenny, and idk what other fishys, i will wait some months before i add my anemone, and is the coral good to go in? how should i add my stuff i know i need to "cycle" my tank. So do i put in my live sand and live rock, let it all run for a week or so then add my coral and a few fishys?:hmm4:

Your tank should be running a minimum of 6 months before adding any nem.
That should give you plenty of time to read up on them and how to care for them.
And happy birthday to ya!

You need to let it run for longer than a week for the cycle. Pickup the API master saltwater test kit , you need to test for ammonia , nitrite and nitrate to see when the cycle starts and ends. Google up cycling a saltwater tank and what size tank are you using?

In a small tank adding a fish that you don't know what, is a very bad thing. You should know what and how he will interact with his other tank mate. Please ask first rather than ask after you got him into your tank.
Please ask these questions in the "new to the hobby forum"
